This mixed media composition is based on an image of Darrell B. at Upper Big Tujunga Creek in Angeles National Forest. The work includes Japanese paper and a dried leaf. The gray bars are a mixture of acrylic gel and sand from the creek itself.
A Celebration of Beauty. I have always been attracted to beautiful things. We all have. And, considering what’s going on in the world today, I think we could all benefit by a little more beauty in our daily lives. Most jobs are dull and uninspiring and we can hardly wait to get out of the office. But for me, photography is just the opposite. When I look through the viewfinder, I can forget about all the annoyances of the real world and just enjoy the beauty in front of my lens. And I thoroughly enjoy capturing that beauty on film or on a chip. I'll gladly work overtime and weekends for that!! So, here are some of my favorite images.
